1 dead, 1 injured in hit-and-run crash at Lincoln Way and 46th Ave

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – One person was killed and another was injured in a hit-and-run crash in the Sunset neighborhood this weekend, according to information from the San Francisco Chronicle.

The crash happened near the intersection of Lincoln Way and 46th Avenue at about 7:34 p.m. Saturday, when a black Audi SUV and a Honda SUV collided. The driver of the Audi was said to have then fled the scene.

Two occupants of the Honda were taken to the hospital, where one of the victims was later pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
