CARRITOS, CA – One person was killed and another injured following a violent crash in Cerritos on Wednesday morning, ABC 7 reports.
The fatal collision occurred in the intersection of South Street and Bloomfield Avenue just before 9 a.m.
The six vehicle wreck was caused by a driver who failed to stop coming in to the intersection. Further details on the cause of the crash are not currently available.
Several victims required rescue from vehicles that they had been trapped inside. One victim passed away due to the crash and another was transported to a nearby hospital.
