Hit-and-run driver abandons injured passenger in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run driver fled the scene of a San Diego crash, leaving behind an injured passenger, Fox 5 San Diego reports. 

The accident occurred on Federal Boulevard near 60th Street around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The suspect lost control of their black Honda sedan and crashed into a parked semi-truck.

The semi-truck then crashed into another vehicle. The driver of the sedan jumped out of the car and ran away, leaving behind an injured passenger.

The passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police are searching for the driver.
