Crash in Point Loma leaves two pedestrians dead

SAN DIEGO, CA – Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle and killed in Point Loma on Wednesday evening, ABC 10 San Diego reports. 

The accident occurred on the 5000 block of North Harbor Drive around 6 p.m. The victims had been attempting to cross the street and where struck by an oncoming vehicle and killed at the scene.

Police estimate that both victims were in their fifties or sixties. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
