Crash in south Sacramento kills motorcyclist

SACRAMENTO, CA – A motorcyclist was killed and a passenger was hospitalized following a crash in south Sacramento Wednesday evening, KCRA reports. 

The accident occurred near the intersection of Florin Road and Munson Way around 6:20 p.m.

Details regarding the cause of the crash have not been released at this time. It involved both a motorcycle and another vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle was killed at the scene. A passenger on the motorcycle was injured and hospitalized. Updates on that person’s condition are not currently available.

The driver of the other vehicle remained on the scene and cooporated with the police investigation.
