Man dies of injuries from Jan. 23 hit-and-run in San Jose

SAN JOSE, CA – A man died Friday of injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run crash in San Jose last month, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The crash happened near the intersection of Newhall Street and the Alameda at around 4:40 a.m. on January 23, as 37-year-old Santa Clara resident Travis Repman was crossing the street in a crosswalk. He was then struck by the driver of what may have been a transit van. After stopping for a short time, the driver then fled the scene.

Repman was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, and on Friday, he was pronounced dead.

The hit-and-run crash remains under investigation at this time.
