Driver ejected, four children injured in Sacramento crash

SACRAMENTO, CA – A driver and four children were injured in an accident Monday night in Sacramento, KCRA reports. 

The driver was attempting to navigate an exit ramp off of Business 80 when they lost control and landed onto Connie Drive and Naomi Way.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was hospitalized in critical condition. No further update on their condition is currently available.

There were also four children, ages 6-11, riding in the car. Each of them sustained minor injuries.

It is not clear why the driver lost control.
