Man killed while riding scooter in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A man was killed while riding a scooter in San Francisco’s Mission District on Wednesday morning, CBS San Francisco reports. 

The victim was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Harrison Street and 22nd Street around 7:30 a.m. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Alcohol is not suspected to be a cause of the crash.
