Cyclist killed in Bakersfield hit-and-run

BAKERSFIELD, CA – A woman was killed in Bakersfield after being struck by a car while riding her bicycle, KGET reports. 

The victim was struck near the intersection of White Lane and Union Avenue around 3 a.m. on Monday. She was killed at the scene.

The driver fled the scene. Police are currently searching for the person responsible but do not yet have any suspects.
