Motorcyclist dies following Long Beach crash

LONG BEACH, CA – A man was killed in Long Beach after being hit by a car while riding his motorcycle on March 8th, the Long Beach Tribune reports. 

The 61-year-old victim was riding at the intersection of Seventh Street and Magnolia Avenue when he was struck by a 2011 Hyundai Sonata attempting to make a left turn.

He was initially rushed to the hospital but passed away a day later.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
