Wrong-way collision in Crockett leaves two dead

CROCKETT, CA – A head-on collision caused by a wrong-way driver left two people dead in Crockett on Sunday morning, KRON 4 reports.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Cummings Skyway and eastbound Interstate 80 around 3:40 a.m. A Honda SUV was driving the wrong way when it collided with a Tesla.

The Tesla flipped over and the Honda landed on top of it. A Toyota Camry then crashed into the wreckage and ignited a fire.

The drivers of the Honda and Tesla were killed in the crash. The Toyota driver sustained minor injuries.
