11-car accident blocks I-280 in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Eleven vehicles were involved in an accident on I-280 in San Francisco on Tuesday morning, NBC Bay Area reports. 

The crash occurred on I-280 in the area south of Ocean Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Police believe it was caused by the sun blinding motorists as they drove.

Several minor injuries were reported.
