Fresno pedestrian killed along Highway 41

FRESNO, CA – A man was killed in Fresno on Tuesday night as he attempted to walk across Highway 41, ABC 30 reports. 

The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of 41, in the area north of Friant Road around 11 p.m.

The victim was hit by an oncoming vehicle and thrown into the median. He died at the scene.

The 19-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Both the driver and his 17-year-old passenger remained uninjured.
