Ocean Beach hit-and-run leaves cyclist injured

OCEAN BEACH, CA – A 45-year-old man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Ocean Beach, ABC 10 reports.

The accident occurred on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The driver briefly stopped before fleeing the scene. The vehicle was a newer model white 4-door crossover-style SUV.

The cyclist was hospitalized with major injuries.
