Collision in northeast Bakersfield leaves motorcyclist dead

BAKERSFIELD, CA – A collision in northeast Bakersfield resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on Friday afternoon, KGET reports. 

The fatal collision occurred at the intersection of River Boulevard and Bernard Street around 4 p.m. A red sedan and a motorcyclist collided in the intersection for reasons that have not been reported.

The motorcyclist was thrown off the bike and rushed to the hospital, where they later passed away.
