Pedestrian struck by motorcycle, killed in Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA – A pedestrian was killed in Santa Monica on Tuesday morning after being struck by a motorcyle, CBS News reports. 

The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Cloverfield Boulevard entrence ramp around 3:30 a.m.

Details on the crash are not clear at this time but it appears that the victim had been attempting to cross the highway on foot.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
