OAKLAND, CA – A motorcyclist was killed on Monday mornign after a collision on eastbound I-580 in Oakland, CBS News reports.
The victim was in the second lane from the left when them stopped near the Lake Park Avenue crossing without their lights on around 1 a.m. A Dodge pickup truck was travelling east when they struck the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identifed, was killed at the scene.
It is not clear why they stopped on the highway.
