Oildale crash leaves man dead

OILDALE, CA – A crash in Oildale left a man dead on Tuesday morning, according to KGET. 

The crash occurred at the intersection of West China Grade Loop and McCray Street around 9:40 a.m. 

The victim, a 43-year-old man, was driving westbound in a Chevrolet Silverado when he collided with a woman in a Volvo XC90. 

The Silverado then left the road and crashed into a light pole, ejecting the driver. He was killed at the scene. 

It is not clear what caused the collision.
