Two killed in Los Angeles hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES, CA – Two people were killed on Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a hit-and-run driver, according to ABC 7.

The crash occurred near Exposition Park on 5200 Flower Street around 12:40 p.m.

The driver lost control of their vehicle, mounted the curb, and struck a tent on the sidewalk.

A man standing near the tent and a woman sleeping in the tent were killed.

The driver attempted to flee the scene but was shortly caught by police.
