Teenager killed after running red light Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY, CA – A teenage boy was killed in Moreno Valley after running a red light on Sunday October 2nd, ABC 7 reports. 

The victim was driving a 2001 Lexus when he ran a red light in the intersection of Moreno Beach Drive and Cactus Avenue.

In the intersection, he was struck by a white Honda Odyssey and spun into a traffic pole. He died at the scene. A female passenger in the car suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital.

All six occupants of the Odyssey were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
