Narrative

A pedestrian was killed by a car in the early morning of Feb. 19th on Sierra Highway. The car struck the victim around 12:30a.m. close to Soledad Canyon Rd. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The at-fault driver did stay with the pedestrian until authorities arrived. The vehicle that struck the victim was heavily damaged. The bumper and windshield were the most damaged components. Once the family is notified of the death of the victim, the identity of the pedestrian will be known.
