Narrative
TEMECUA, CA – A head-on collision involving three vehicles killed one person and injured two others last Friday in southwest Riverside County.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Rancho California Road and I-15 overpass, which is north of Temecula Valley Museum and west of Temecula Duck Pond and Park.
Police say that the 50-year-old driver of a Hyundai SUV entered the wrong side of the roadway and crashed head-on with another vehicle. That vehicle then collided a third vehicle.
The wrong-way driver, identified as Glenmar Salcedo, ultimately died at the scene.
Medics transported the other two drivers to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
