Bicyclist killed after hit-and-run in Exposition Park

LOS ANGELES, CA – A man was killed near Exposition Park on Monday night after his bike was hit by a driver who fled the scene, NBC Los Angeles reports. 

The collision occurred along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. The victim, who was in his thirties, was struck by a westbound vehicle at the Hoover Street intersection.

He was thrown off his bike and landed in the middle of the intersection. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later passed away.

Police are still searching for the driver, who they believe was driving a grey sedan.
