OAKLAND, CA – An Oakland restaurant sustained significant damaged after a car crashed into its outdoor seating area, NBC Bay Area reports.
The crash occurred at Molcajete Cocina Mexicana on Webster Street early on Sunday morning.
Damage from the collision forced the restaurant to close Sunday and Monday and is expected to cost more than $40,000.
It is not clear why the car hit the restaurant. No injuries have been reported at this time.
