SACRAMENTO, CA – One person was killed and four others were seriously injured after a crash on the Antioch Bridge in Sacramento County. According to KRON 4, the crash occurred late Sunday evening just north of the Antioch Bridge on State Route 160. A 38-year-old man was driving southbound in a Mazda at a high speed when he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Audi, causing his vehicle to flip over. SACRAMENTO, CA – A two-vehicle accident in Sacramento left a woman dead on Sunday morning, according to ABC Sacramento.  The accident happened at the intersection of Florin Perkins Road and Elder Creek Road around 6:40 p.m. The victim was initially treated for serious injuries but was later pronounced dead. DAVIS, CA – A pedestrian was killed in Davis on Tuesday after being struck by an Amtrack train, CBS Sacramento reports.  The accident occurred around 7:40 a.m. An Amtrack train was southbound from Seattle to Los Angeles when it hit someone on the tracks near Davis. DELTA, CA – One person was killed in Delta on Thursday after a head-on collision, according to reports from CBS Sacramento.  The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 160 and West Sherman Island Road around 1 p.m. The accident was caused when a driver left their lane and drifted into oncoming traffic. One driver was killed. The other sustained major injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Further information is not currently available. WOODLAND, CA – One person was killed in Woodland on Wednesday night in a head-on collision, ABC 10 reports.  The crash occurred along Old River Road around 9:35 p.m. Wednesday night. One of the vehicles drifted into oncoming traffic and struck the other. One driver was killed at the scene. The other was transported to UC Davis Medical with moderate injuries. SACRAMENTO, CA – A 25-year-old woman was killed in a crash on Highway 50 in Sacramento on Thursday morning, CBS Sacramento reports. The victim was attempting to use the 59th street exit around 4 a.m. when she struck water-filled attenuators on the ramp and her car flipped over. A 56-year-old woman in an SUV then struck the overturned vehicle. The 25-year-old woman was killed at the scene. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
