Construction worker injured by car in Fresno

FRESNO, CA – A construction worker was hit by a car in central Fresno and suffered a broken leg on Wednesday morning, ABC 30 reports. 

The victim was working near the intersection of Shields Avenue and Wilson Avenue when they were hit by a car around 7:30 a.m.

The driver remained on the scene. Police believe that the sun may have played a role in the crash.
