Crash with minivan leave cyclist injured in Point Loma

POINT LOMA, CA – A bicyclist was injured in Point Loma following a collision with a minivan, local news reports.

The accident occurred on the 500 block of Catalina Boulevard on the afternoon of April 7th. The victim was hit by a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country driven by a 80-year-old woman.

The 31-year-old man on the bike suffered a broken wrist and collarbone. The woman was not injured.

Police do not suspect that alcohol was a factor.
