Cyclist killed in Long Beach crash

LONG BEACH, CA – A man was killed in Long Beach after being struck by a car while riding his bike, Long Beach Local News reports. 

The accident occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of Anaheim Street and Coronado Avenue around 12:15 a.m.

The victim, a 32-year-old man from Long Beach, was riding his bike east in the westbound lanes of Anahiem Street when he was struck by a 2009 Toyota Corolla travelling west.

He sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and is not suspected of impairment.
