Driver arrested after hitting two vehicles and fleeing

FREMONT, CA – A man was arrested in Fremont on Friday evening after hitting multiple vehicles and attempting to flee the scene, local news reports.

Witnesses report that the man was driving erratically in a Safeway parking lot on Washington Boulevard, not far from John Horner Middle School.

The man was revving his engine and coming dangerously close to hitting pedestrians as he navigated the parking lot, striking two vehicles in the process.

Eventually, he crashed into a tree and attempted to run away on foot. A bystander chased him down and tackled him before he was arrested by police.
