Female pedestrian injured in San Marcos crash

SAN MARCOS, CA – A 64-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a vehicle in San Marcos on Monday morning, local news reports. 

The victim was struck by a Cadillac SUV near the intersection of Firebird Lane and West Mission Road around 11:40 a.m.

She suffered a broken ankle and was taken to a local hospital.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
