MADERA, CA – Five people were injured in Madera on Tuesday morning after a collision tore a vehicle in half, KMPH reports.
The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 145 and Avenue 11 in Madera. For reasons that are not clear at this time, a Honda drove into oncoming traffic and struck a minivan that was carrying six people.
One victim was ejected from the Honda. A total of five people were hospitalized, including one victim who was airlifted.
The current condition of the victims has not been reported.
