One killed, four injured in suspected DUI crash

SACRAMENTO, CA – One person was killed and four others were seriously injured after a crash on the Antioch Bridge in Sacramento County.

According to KRON 4, the crash occurred late Sunday evening just north of the Antioch Bridge on State Route 160.

A 38-year-old man was driving southbound in a Mazda at a high speed when he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Audi, causing his vehicle to flip over.

The Mazda’s driver, who police believe may have been intoxicated, died at the scene. Three minors in his vehice, a 15-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy, and 4 year-old boy, were all hospitalized in serious condition.

The 71-year-old woman driving the Audi was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
