Pedestrian dead after being hit by driver in early-morning Oak Park crash

SAN DIEGO, CA – A pedestrian died after being struck by up to two drivers in the Oak Park area early Thursday morning, according to information from FOX 5 San Diego.

The crash happened in the 3000 block of 54th Street near Quince Street at around 4:30 a.m., as a man near the roadway was struck by the driver of a 2014 Dodge Journey as well as by a possible second driver.

The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge, a 34-year-old man, remained at the site of the crash.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
