Pedestrian hit by motorcycle, critically injured in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a motorcycle in San Francisco on Wednesday.

According to CBS San Francisco, the accident occurred near the intersection of Polk Street and Sutter Street around 1:35 a.m. A 24-year-old man on a 2015 black Honda CBR motorcycle struck another vehicle before hitting a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk.

The pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition. The motorcyclist was arrested.
