Pedestrian in critical condition following San Marcos crash

SAN MARCOS, CA – A 19-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in San Marcos, local news reports. 

The accident occurred on the 600 block of Woodward Street  around 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The victim was attempting to cross Woodward when he was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by a 23-year-old woman. He was then taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained uninjured. Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in the collision.
