Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver in Colonial Village

SACRAMENTO, CA – A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver in the Colonial Village area early Sunday morning, according to information from The Sacramento Bee.

The crash happened near the intersection of Butte Avenue and Power Inn Road at about 1:50 a.m., when a male pedestrian was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.

The victim, whose identity will be released pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
