Pedestrian killed on White Lane in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA – A man was killed in Bakersfield on Sunday after being struck by a car on White Lane, KGET reports. 

The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of White Lane. The victim, a 42-year-old man from Visalia, was in the road outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
