POMONA, CA – An accident on Highway 60 resulted in two deaths on Sunday morning in Pomona, according to the LA Times.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. in the carpool lane. A separate accident had stopped traffic on the highway when a 2019 Honda Civic crashed into the rear of a 2013 Toyota Camry. The Honda had been travelling at unsafe speeds before the collision.
After the crash, a fire burst out in the wreckage. The driver of the Honda and a passenger in the Toyota were both killed in the crash. The driver of the Toyota sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized.
