SAN DIEGO, CA – A crash at Torrey Pines State Beach killed two and left three injured last week, Fox 5 San Diego reports.
The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on April 25th. The victims were speeding in a 2020 Subaru WRX when the driver lost control near 13000 N. Torrey Pines Road. The vehicle crash through the guardrail and several rocks before coming to rest on the beach.
Two of the passengers, both 19-year-old men, were killed at the scene. Two other passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries. The 19-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.
Police are investigating to determine whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
