Wrong-way driver causes collision in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA – A wrong-way driver caused a four-car pileup on a San Diego freeway early Saturday morning, Fox 5 San Diego reports. 

The accident occurred on State Route 163 as a car driving south in the northbound lanes struck an oncoming vehicle around 4:30 a.m. Two other cars were later caught up in the wreckage, one of which flipped over.

No serious injuries were reported. Initial police reports indicated that the crash was DUI related but further information has not yet been released.
