Narrative
ESPARTO, CA – One person died Sunday in a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in west-central Yolo County.
The collision occurred just after 2 a.m. along Highway 16 near Parker Place in the city of Esparto. This is about 37 miles northwest of Sacramento.
Police haven’t shared many details about the wreck. They say that a motorcycle may have rear-ended an SUV.
The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.
